  Brand new place, clean and tidy.
  My granddaughter' favorite place to go to -- loves the pineapple pancakes. Portions are large and normally good, just have to watch for that "off " day.
  They do have really good pie though.

  The portions here are very large! It is definitely a cozy home food kind of place. I have had great breakfast and good dinner here. My husband order a tri-tip steak that was really good. I enjoyed the fish, but my mom's meatloaf was not that great.
  
  The orange juice is fantastic! The restaurant area is pretty large, so you shouldn't have to wait long even if they are busy. The dessert pies are very nice, but large, can easily be split between two or maybe even three people.

  It was pricey but a decent amount of food as well so I suppose that makes up for it. The chicken fried steak wasn't good quality meat, and it had more soggy breading than meat in my opinion. All of these could have been possibly redeemable, but the service was lousy. Our server came to check on us maybe once or twice the whole meal, forgot the soups/salads until 3/4 through the meal, and when delivered we got a salad instead of a soup. This service could have been understandable if it was busy, but we were one out of 3 parties in the entire restaurant. Overall I would say the price for the food is good for quantity, OK for quality, and horrible for service.

  Have eaten here twice. Food was just okay. My wife's steak was greasy. Onion rings seemed to be cooked at a low temperature as they were saturated with grease. We did get a seat quickly and our server was pretty good.
